Volunteers
Volunteers are a valuable resource to any agency! Sincere thanks to the many angels who donate time, talent and treasure on behalf of abused, neglected and abandoned children of our community. Are you interested in creating miracles for very needy children and families?
Muskingum County Adult and Child Protective Services volunteers must be special people who care about children and their safety. Due to the sensitive nature of child welfare, confidentiality regarding a child and the biological family is of utmost importance and a rigorous screening process is necessary. Therefore, a background check, including fingerprinting, is required before anyone may serve as a Children Services volunteer.
All volunteers working with our families must complete a statement of confidentiality, agree to abide by the agency conditions for volunteering, and agree to abide by the conditions established by families in their release form, and receive and comply with agency training requirements.
