A Message From the Director

"A man or woman never stands so tall as when they stoop to help a child!"

I absolutely love the aforementioned simple, yet powerful statement. There is no more important duty or role of government than protecting our children from harm. We must provide for the safety of our most vulnerable citizens, children, and truly, failure is not an option. We must succeed and we must succeed gloriously. The challenges are daunting and the work is difficult. However, the rewards of great public servants creating hope where there was once only despair and creating function where there was once only dysfunction are immense.

I have had the honor, pleasure, and opportunity to work alongside the best public servants anywhere, my colleagues at Muskingum County Children Services, since 1996. I have witnessed this outstanding team of professionals create miracles for children continuously ever since.

Let us all continue to "Stand Tall for Children", our children deserve it!
